PENERAPAN VALUE ENGINEERING TERHADAP KINERJA BIAYA PROYEK PEMASANGAN JEMBATAN PIPA AIR MINUM BANJARNEGARA

Abstract


Fast economic growth in Indonesia in many aspects within limited materials, manpower, and project deadlines especially for infrastructure in construction, creativity and a perfect plan is a must for the inevitable challenge in the future, that is why the Value Engineering in construction management needed for the best solution.

Drink water pipe bridge at Banjarnegara is using steel rod frame construction, with the same function as using the steel girder. Construction with the steel rod frame can make the efficiency up to 49 % compared to steel girder. Applying the efficient lighter materials from the fabrication process and the exact working time, we got significant cost performance index (>1).
